lucy, you have my shoe blessing. i think your shoes are fine, but you're talking to the girl who sports worn out adidas tennis shoes like they're cool and hits up the birks in the summer...
I actually LOVE those shoes. I would call them hippie-chic. And for the the record, Jenna, worn out sneaks are the only way to go. When I get new ones I do my best to get them dirty. I'd like Birks too, except that they think it's ok to charge $80 for two flaps of leather. Mmmmmmm no.
Thanks for havin' my back girls! I knew I could count on you. C'mon Caroline...you need to hit up one of your lesbian lady friends for a pair of their old Birks. I know they have some lying around, so don't take no for an answer!
